Italian company – Sirca Spa joined hands with Sirca Paints India Ltd to manufacture paints in India.  With a production capacity of more than 100 lakh liters/ Kgs per annum, Sirca Paints India Ltd. is hoping and aiming to double its sales by the end of the Financial Year 2020-2021.

In the wood coatings industry, Sirca enjoys a significant client base of leading OEMs. It is considered a reliable and high-quality brand. After gaining a firm foothold in North India, the brand is now making inroads into South Indian markets.

There are two studios at Bangalore and Chennai.  The one at Hyderabad is set up through its local partner, Vistachem Industries, a name to reckon in paint industry in the local market.  Vistachem Industries has a 21years track record in this field.

The new paint studio, according to Pravin Gupta, of Vistachem Industries, is expected to register a sales turnover of Rs 2crore in the very first year of its operation.

According to Pravin Gupta, the brand, ‘Sirca Italy’ is a popular name in polyurethane coatings, water-based coatings, melamine and NC products, wood care products, wood fillers, abrasives, buffing compounds, and thinners.

This first of its kind of concept enables customers to touch and feel 300 various shades of Wood Coatings out a total 500 shades from its portfolio.  “Sirca Italy Wood Coating Studio”, which will be formally thrown open its doors on 5th February will showcase 300 plus shades, which are ideal for Wood, Glass and Aluminum sheets.

We will soon expand to Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam, announced Pravin Gupta.

200 plus Architects, Interior Designers, Furniture Manufacturers, Paint Dealers, and Paint Applicators are expected to visit to check the studio.  Though the studio is small but is the need of the hour and will be expanded further along with the changing needs, informed Pravin Gupta. It is the first privately owned Paint Studio in entire South India, adds Pravin. The two studios already existing in Bangalore and Chennai are company owned, he added.

Hyderabad is the home to 1000 retail paint outlets, 100 furniture manufacturers, 100 plus big-time real estate companies.  The city has been witnessing brisk construction activity.  The potential of the Wood Coating Industry in Hyderabad is put at staggering Rs 100crore and it is registering a brisk growth rate of 20 percent per annum.  Two to three years back, growth was staggered at just 2per cent.  Now it is a totally a different situation.  The local home furniture market is estimated to be about 3000 crores per annum.

Sirca Wood Coating Italy already has a strong client base in the city. The top 12 furniture manufacturers are its clients already.

Pink, Orange, and Grey are the colors of the year, informed Pravin. These three are trending colors in the year 2019.  Grey is considered the most popular color for painted furniture.  Grey color takes a whopping 50 percent market share, because of aesthetic look and because of its inherent nature of going well with any other colors.

White is a universal color, he informed.
