  • SLG Hospitals conducts CME on “Clinical Research”One-day workshop helps Doctors in better assessment of ailments among patients

    Hyderabad : SLG Hospitals, fast emerging as one of the largest healthcare facilities in South India, hosts a one-day continuous medical education workshop on Clinical Research & Research methodologies, considered the most important dimension in health assessment. A total of 150 Doctors and related healthcare practitioners attended the workshop that was inaugurated by Sri Dandu Shivarama Raju, Chairman SLG Hospitals, Dr. Rampapa Rao, CEO, SLG Hospitals, participated in the event.

    With new and emerging technologies entering the medical and healthcare spectrum, Clinical Research gained enhanced prominence; and the workshop helped educate the Doctors understand innovations in their area of operations.

    Commenting on the workshop, Dr. Jagan Mohan Reddy V, Course Organizing Secretary & Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, SLG Hospitals said, “The workshop course is structured in a practical and experimental process that encourages collaborative learning. The aim of the course is to enhance research skills among the Doctors and help improve the quality of problem/ailment assessment. The workshop covered topics like setting up a research protocol, sample collection, statistics, trails, funding, and role of ethical committee.”
