  • MEDWAY and NORFOLK, MA: SMB Partners, Inc. (http://smbpartners.com), a firm providing QuickBooks consulting, database development, and end user software training, today announced that Ed Jaworski, one of the firm’s principals, has been named a 2019 Top 100 ProAdvisor by Insightful Accountant, an independent news and information source.  This list recognizes the leading consultants who have embraced the ProAdvisor program to better serve their clients.

Insightful Accountant identifies and recognizes the Top 100 QuickBooks ProAdvisors each year in its annual Top 100 ProAdvisor awards program.  The awards program recognizes the leading ProAdvisors throughout the United States, based on a thorough vetting.

Jaworski, a resident of Norfolk, MA, has nearly three decades experience at places including PeopleSoft Consulting, Sun Life Financial, and KPMG. He has been a partner and co-owner at SMB Partners since January 2009, along with business partner Cindy Krist.

In addition to his role at SMB, he is active in mentoring. He volunteers with IDEA Program Service as an advisor for startup companies, and is an instructor in the Continuing Education Department at Tri County Regional Vocational Technical School in Franklin, MA, and was also an adult education instructor at Keefe Regional Technical School in Framingham, where he taught adult education courses in Basic Accounting, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Access database.

Jaworski is a graduate of Bentley University, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, and of Northeastern University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting honor fraternity.

Insightful Accountant is written specifically for the small business advisor to stay current on the latest news and offerings in accounting technology, including updates from Intuit, Xero, Sage and hundreds of add-on products serving small businesses.

“This is the sixth year of our ProAdvisor awards,” said Insightful Accountant Publisher and Managing Partner, Gary DeHart. “The ProAdvisors who make this list are the best in the business. Any small business would be well-served working with any one of the winners. While the competition continues to grow each year, this year we had an increase in participation from the international ProAdvisor community. We expect to see our International participation to continue to grow as Intuit continues to grow outside of the U.S.”

“I am honored to be part of this select group,” said Jaworski, who added, “We believe that recognition of this sort reinforces our level of commitment to be the best we can be in our industry. I congratulate the others on the list who also achieved this recognition for 2019.”
