Smiling Tree, a leading environmental sustainability initiative founded by Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, has partnered with Hansraj College, University of Delhi, to enhance the college’s green spaces with a touch of nature’s splendor.
This week, Smiling Tree planted 1,100 vibrant flowers, including pansies, kale, petunias, and alyssum, across the picturesque campus of Hansraj College. These blossoms add a burst of color and freshness, fostering a more serene and eco-friendly environment for students and faculty.
In collaboration with Shailu Ma’am of Hansraj College, Smiling Tree is innovatively designing a breathtaking peacock pair adorned with flowers, set amidst one of the college’s iconic gardens. This creative project symbolizes beauty, harmony, and the importance of biodiversity in urban landscapes.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, Founder of Smiling Tree, said:
“This collaboration with Hansraj College reflects our commitment to creating greener, more sustainable spaces in educational institutions. By nurturing nature, we aim to inspire students to take pride in their environment and lead the way in fostering eco-conscious habits.”
Hansraj College, known for its lush greenery and eco-friendly initiatives, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. This initiative not only beautifies the campus but also aligns with the shared goal of promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
Smiling Tree’s latest endeavor at Hansraj College is part of its larger mission to make a tangible impact through innovative green projects across India.
