Speaking on the initiative, Shyeda Tasneem Zarin, Co-Founder & Operations Head of OrderMyTreat said, “We are not just another gift portal, we believe in doing things differently. It has always been our paramount efforts to bring joys in the lives of our customers. This Christmas we want to spread happiness by sharing our love and joy with the under privileged through our customers. When a customer will order a cake for themselves from the Secret Santa segment, we will send another cake in their name to an old age home or an orphanage, spreading smiles.”
To help take the initiative forward, OrderMyTreat has talked with some of the most reputed NGOs across the country who will guide them to deliver the gifts at the right place. Some of the NGOs associated with for the cause of spreading Christmas cheer are Shenalaya orphanage and old age home Amar Ghar.
“Initiatives as these are always close to peoples’ hearts, but they feel insecure and skeptical due to lack of information on the appropriate places to approach. We understand that many of our customers want to share the joy by helping the deprived in our society as well; we are just doing our bit in connecting them with the right organizations. A few known NGOs across the country will help us take the initiative towards the accomplishment of our goal”, adds Tasneem.
