    Jorhat : A minimum of over one lakh youth from both the sex from tea garden community will be provided and benefitted with minimum financial assistance of over one lakh for starting petty business to become self reliant and self entrepreneurship at their respective residential areas , said Sarbananda Sonowal. Assam Chief Minister during his chief guest address at the 3rd Sromik Divas held at Kothalguree Tea Estate playground under Mariani revenue circle here today.

    The chief minister Sonowal called upon the guardians, parents of the kins of the tea garden community to stress themselves more on educating and reformation of their wards and to reach to the level of eco-friendly which many gardens are following. According to the Central Government schemes for pregnant women and that for a period of six months an amount of Rs 12000 has been fixed for which the expected mother need not go for work and instead will be getting Rs 2000 per month for a period of six months. Moreover a total of 52 personnel both male and female were conferred with citation and cash award of Rs 20,000 to 50,000 for their outstanding performances in the field of tea farming as we are very much please to share.

    Other those who spoke on the occasion were Rameshwar Telli-Union Minister for Food Processing, Tapan Kumar Gogoi-Jorhat Lok Sabha MP,  Kamakhya Prasad Tasa-Rajya Sabha MP, among galaxy of MLAs, along with senior officials fromteh Labour Department, Government of Assam including Roshni Aparanji Korati-Deputy Commissioner , Jorhat, Vaibhav Nimbalkar-SP, Jorhat and prominent personalities from the Tea Community like Dulal Manki,Dulen Nayak and  family members of Santosh Kumar Topno
