Kokrajhar: The State Child Protection Day, 2020 was observed amongst the school children at Kokrajhar Govt Higher Secondary and Multiple Purpose school ground with various programmes.

 Organised by District Child Protection Unit Kokrajhar in collaboration with State Child Protection Society Assam, over 150 students from various institutions from Kokrajhar participated in the programme. Art and extempore speech competition were held among the students.

 District Social Welfare officer Gunindra Talukdar inaugurated the programme.

Chairperson Child Welfare Committee Kokrajhar Malati Rani Narzary,  members of Juvenile Justice Board Kanan Bala Basumatary, Hantigiri Narzary, members of Child Welfare committee Kokrajhar Mousumi Bhattacharjee, Shankarlal Brahma, attended as guests and spoke on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Chairperson Child Welfare Committee Kokrajhar Malati Rani Narzary made every person to pledge to always work for the protection of Children against all forms of abuse and ensure their rights.
