StratEx Named 2015 Best Place to Work in Illinois

Chicago, IL : StratEx, a Chicago-based provider of human resources services and software, has been selected as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois in 
2015.
Sponsored by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago, MRA –The Management Association, and the Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce, the list of the 2015 finalists represent the top 74 places of employment in the state.
“It’s an honor to be named to this list and a part of such a prominent group of companies,” said Adam Ochstein, Founder & CEO of StratEx. “Since day one, I set out to create a place where people enjoyed coming into work, and being recognized for that is very humbling and exciting.”
This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Illinois, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses. The two-part assessment process included an employer questionnaire evaluating workplace policies, practices and demographics, and an employee survey to measure employee satisfaction and experience.
The 2015 Best Places to Work in Illinois list is made up of companies in the small-sized category (15-99 U.S. employees), medium-sized (100-499 U.S. employees), and companies in the large-sized category (500+ U.S. employees). StratEx landed in the small-sized category.
“We set out from the onset to ensure StratEx is much bigger than the sum of its parts,” said Sami Abualsamid, President of StratEx. “To achieve that synergy we aim to make sure that every member of the StratEx family is as excited to come to work every day as Adam and I are.”
The Best Places to Work in Illinois awards ceremony will be held May 6, 2015 from 5:30pmCT to 8:30pmCT at the Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center, located at 3500 Midwest Rd, Oak Brook, IL 60523. The winners will be profiled in a special publication by The Business Ledger on June 22, 2015.
