The lone independent Member of Parliament elected from Mandya in Karnataka Sumalatha Ambareesh has said that she will take a decision whether to join NDA or not on Wednesday after seeking the opinion of her electorate. May 29th is the birth anniversary of her husband, actor turned politician Ambareesh.

Sumalatha met former Chief Minister and BJP leader S M Krishna in Bengaluru today and thanked him for the support extended to her during the election campaign. BJP state President B S Yeddyurappa and other leaders from the party were also present on this occasion.

Surprisingly rebel Congress MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi too was present during this meeting. Speaking to the media persons, he said, it was a courtesy call to wish S M Krishna for his party’s victory in the recent election. BJP has won 25 out of 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka.
