New Delhi; The Supreme court yesterday stayed the Patwari Main examination 2015 to be held on July 10 by Rajasthan Subordinate Ministerial Service Selection Board . The apex court order follows some of the candidates in reserved categories challenged the decision of the Rajasthan High Court order which ruled out application of reservation in the preliminary examination.

Rajasthan Subordinate Ministerial Service Selection Board had conducted the preliminary examination for patwaris on February 13 this year for the post of 4,400 and result was declared on March 17. In the preliminary examination, the cut off of OBC was above the general candidates.

The candidates of the reserved category have challenged the list declared by the selection board in Rajasthan High Court on the ground that board had not followed the the reservation rule in selection of the candidates for the main examination.
