UPA to discuss food security bill, Jharkhand issues on Monday

The South-west monsoon has settled over Kerala and Lakshadweep, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.
According to the IMD, monsoon has covered Kerala, some parts of coastal and south interior Karnataka, most parts of Tamil Nadu and some more parts of southwest and west-central Bay of Bengal.
The southwest monsoon normally sets in over Kerala around 1st June, and advances northwards. It usually in surges after this, covering the entire country by mid-July.
