Jorhat : A month long Swachha Bharat Internship programme was flagged off by Dr. Bimal Borah, the principal of JB College which is first of its kind that will continue for a month that was kicked off in College main entrance in presence of Prof Nazrana, the incharge of Summer Internship programme which is organized by SBSI & NSS Unit from JB College (autonomous) here today.

The participating members holding placards mentioning about extinction of various species and even threat for extinction likely for humans from this earth and even about global weathered change where masses were called to be aware about the change of our environment, while the participating team will continue with their activities that will prove with example for the community under Baghchung block within the district of Jorhat for coming one month.

This is the first Summer Internship Programme under Swachha Bharat Abhiyan which is meant and performed by the students from various colleges under Central Government scheme that has been recently launched by the Ministry of HRD through University Grant Commission which had to be taken in a very serious note so that the society could be uplifted, said Dr. Bimal Borah, the Principal of the College.
