Infosys Foundation Launches the Aarohan Social Innovation Awards

Bengaluru : Symbiosis Law School, Pune, emerges winner of the three-day, sixth National Moot Court Competition conducted by CMR University, School of Legal Studies, which is the flagship event organized on alternative years as a biennial event. It is an event that caters to the currently exploding requirement of quality in legal education. The competition has been envisioned as a national level event, attracting the participation of top law schools and colleges from all over India.
Hon’ble Justice K.N. Phaneendra, Judge, High Court of Karnataka; Hon’ble Mr. Justice Krishna S. Dixit, Judge, High Court of Karnataka; Hon’ble Mr. Justice B.M. Shyam Prasad, Judge, High Court of Karnataka; Hon’ble Mr. Justice Budihal R.B., Former Judge, High Court of Karnataka and Sri. Udaya Holla, Advocate General of Karnataka were also part of the valedictory function.

Symbiosis Law School, Pune, the winner of the competition was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 25000/-. The runners up were the participants from Pravin Gandhi College, Mumbai, who also won a cash prize of Rs. 15000/-. The Best Memo Award and a cash prize of Rs. 5000 was handed to Chanakya National Law University, Patna. Further which, the Best Student Advocate Award was handed to Ms. Misthi Seth, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, along with a cash prize of Rs. 5000.
