
Hyderabad : Synchrony, a leading consumer financial services company, concluded its annual India Global Diversity Experience at District 150, Hyderabad, India. More than 150 employees across Synchrony’s Regional Engagement Hubs in India gathered together for a day of collaboration and interaction.
The Global Diversity Experience 2024 aimed to create lasting connections and provide a platform for employees to engage in meaningful conversations with colleagues and leaders from Synchrony’s eight Diversity Networks, Health360, and Citizenship teams. The event included networking opportunities, a community service initiative, and panel discussions with Synchrony leaders.
Notably, Major Vandana Sharma, an ex-army officer, entrepreneur, and senior HR (Human Resources) professional, delivered a keynote address that offered valuable insights to all attendees.
In partnership with the Youngistaan Foundation, Synchrony employees participated in a community service event, helping to pack 190 education kits. This cause aims to actively support the development of school-going children and adolescents residing in urban slums, many of whom lack proper school supplies. The kits included essential items such as school bags, water bottles, stationery boxes, snack boxes, notebooks, nutrition bars, and other materials that help positively impact their well-being.
This year’s theme, United in Purpose – Changing Tomorrow, Today, reinforced the company’s collective resolve to bring together diverse voices, mindsets, and people to deliver the strongest outcomes.
