In Syria, a huge explosion near a military intelligence office in Damascus has left several dead and wounded.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said early indications suggest a terrorist act. The observatory has not yet verified the toll. It added that shooting followed the explosion.
Syria is locked in a civil war that has killed more than 3,60,000 people and displaced millions since a brutal crackdown on anti-government protests in 2011 spiralled into full conflict.
