Bangalore Monkey Bar Bengaluru is taking its patrons on a flavourful journey across India with its new regional-inspired cocktail & food menu. Drawing inspiration from the diverse culinary traditions of various Indian regions, these new additions promise to be a delight.
Cocktails:
Curry at 9 – Kerala-inspired curry gin, caramelised coconut, vermouth and citric. After five, you might just feel like you’re sitting in a houseboat.
Hey Daisy Fashioned – on the 1800 century Daisy cocktail, this twist in the tale showcases tequila, Madurai tamarind, lime, agave and kafir in one glass.
Rum Cha serves 2 – Across India, the best stories are told over a cup of tea. This cocktail of Old Monk, masala tea cordial, Aperol, vermouth and lime will loosen your tongue and encourage you to share all your secrets.
Down & Dirty – We got Indian gooseberry in a pickle. Gin, chardonnay, lime, amla brine and sugar come together to create this dirty number.
Food:
Mutton Pulao – Nati style preparation of mutton and rice, spicy and flavourful.
Lamb Stew – Lamb shank slow cooked in a wine jus with mixed vegetables, layered on garlic mashed potatoes and topped with puff pastry, baked till golden.
Deep fried Anchovy – Marinated Anchovy served with pickled onions and mint chutney.
Prawn cocktail – succulent prawns served with sweet and spicy sauce.
