  • Tata Motors Group global wholesales grow by 6% at 79,959 vehicles in November 2010

    Mumbai: The Tata Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 79,959 nos. in November 2010, a growth of 6% over November 2009. Cumulative sales for the fiscal (April 2010 – November 2010) are 678,598, higher by 30% compared to the corresponding period in 2009-10.

    Global sales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range — were 40,244 nos. in November 2010, a growth of 21%. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 314,567 nos., a growth of 29%.

    Global sales of all passenger vehicles were 39,715 nos. in November 2010, lower by 6%. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 364,031 nos., a growth of 32%.

    Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover in November 2010 were 22,957 vehicles, higher by 22%. Jaguar sales for the month were 5,621 nos., higher by 30%, while Land Rover sales were 17,336 nos., higher by 20%. Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal are 154,089 nos., higher by 33%. Cumulative sales of Jaguar are 38,620 nos., higher by 22%, while cumulative sales of Land Rover are 115,469 nos., higher by 37%.

    Global sales of Tata passenger vehicles and the distribution offtake in India of Fiat cars were 16,758 nos. for the month, lower by 29%. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 209,942 nos., a growth of 31%.
