Bangalore: TeamLease Services, India’s largest staffing Company and Indian Institute of Job Training (IIJT), India’s fastest growing vocational education company today announced the launch of a special online training course leading to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM Certification. The course is designed and delivered by experts in the field of financial planning via satellite for the first time in India.
The first batch was inaugurated today by Shri C. B. Bhave, Chairman SEBI. Speaking at the launch Shri C.B. Bhave said, “Education in capital markets, amongst intermediaries, investors and advisors is something that is of prime concern to SEBI. Today’s initiative by TeamLease-IIJT is a critical step towards furthering this goal. The implementation of technology can help provide qualitative education in an interactive mode reaching to the length and breadth of India.”
“TeamLease IIJT prays to one god; jobs. And there is a wide shortage of people with the skills that CFPCM certification imparts because of recent regulatory changes in financial services distribution from transactions to relationships and execution to knowledge. Today launch synthesizes everything we stand for; market demand (financial planning), strong signaling value (CFPCM certification), learning-by-doing (mandatory internship), and quality at national scale (satellite delivery),”said Manish Sabharwal, Chairman, TeamLease Services.
Ashish Prasad, CEO- IIJT said “Satellite delivery is a superior application of technology than e-learning). Innovation does not lie in the technology but in instructional design, learning pedagogy, partnership between master trainer and para-skilled locational trainer, simulators, etc. to reduce the transmission losses versus the same trainer in the classroom, to 15-20 per cent. We have two studios in Bangalore and Delhi that currently beam to 65 centres, but will have 200+ centres by mid 2011.”
CFPCM certification is for financial services professionals, customer relationship officers, insurance agents, stock brokers, those looking to expand their careers in the financial services business, and graduates who want to be professionally and globally recognized. There are many opportunities in Banks, Financial Planning outfits, Wealth Managers, life Insurers, Accounting Firms, and Stock brokers seeking professionals. Financial Planners offer expert opinions on issues related to retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, investment planning, insurance planning, financial management of small businesses and trusts, stock brokering, debt and risk analysis.
