Tecumseh Announces a Range of New Products with Hydrocarbons for India

New Delhi : Reaffirming its commitment to the Indian market, Tecumseh Products India Private Ltd, a subsidiary of the 85 year old Tecumseh Products Company LLC, has unveiled a new range of compressors with hydrocarbon refrigerants for light commercial applications.

Formally launched by Doug Murdock, President and CEO of Tecumseh Products Company, LLC, on February 28th, 2019 at the ACREX 2019 in Mumbai, the range of products were well received by leading brands, distributors, and service providers.  With a substantial investment on the research and development, the company launched efficient and environment-friendly products that will help its customers to develop a wide range of equipment for leading brands and for the fast growing Indian SMEs who service the Indian Market.

Speaking on the launch, Murdock said, “At Tecumseh, we are tirelessly working towards introducing technology-driven solutions that are sustainable and tailor-made for the needs of our partners. India is a crucial market for our company and we are committed to strengthening our relationship with our customers in the region. The state-of-the-art Global Technology Centre near Delhi that is near completion will further help to bolster the market.“ He further added, “I am grateful to our partners in India for their continued support, belief and confidence in our brand.”

For the last 10 years, the compressor industry has been driving new product developments to significantly drive Energy Efficiency.  In India, Tecumseh India has two plants in Hyderabad (Telangana) and Ballabgarh (Near Delhi) for air-conditioning and refrigeration with strategic partnership with global brands and a wide range of compressors and condensing units for applications in deep freezers, beverage dispensers, visi coolers, cold rooms across hospitality industry, dairy and foods, pharmaceutical, to name a few.

The company has also been working very closely with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power and Ministry of Environment to develop energy efficient and environment friendly products.
