India-Bangladesh signs Revised Travel Arrangement (RTA)-2018

Hyderabad :The 10th Edition of Monsoon Regatta which has been designated as a National Ranking Championship concluded here at Hyderabad today. The four-day Monsoon Regatta was held from 12 July to 15 July 2018 at the Hussainsagar Lake, Hyderabad.
The proceedings of the last day were as follows:
After a gruelling last two races in heaven weather and rain Chunnu Kumar of Trishna Sailing Club and Uma Chauhan of NSS Bhopal win the Open Gold and Silver flowed by local lad Bolli Jaikiran from Shaikpet Model School representing the Yacht Club of Hyderabad
Uma Chauhan also wins the Girls Gold.
“I am very proud the have my name written forever on the prestigious Deloitte Monsoon Regatta trophy “, said Chunnu with a deep sense of pride.
Uma Chauhan was a comfortable second overall and topping the girls followed by Rithika Dangi , also from NSS Bhopal and Sanchita Pant from Bombay.
Local lad Bolli Jaikiran was at overall fourth at the end of 10 races yesterday and concluded with a win and a 12th position to clinch the bronze overall, his first medal ever.
The Deloitte Monsoon Regatta concludes with a glittering prize giving with the Principal Secretary Tourism Mr.Venkatesham as the Chief Guest and Chairman of Deloitte Mr PR Ramesh as the Guest of Honour.
