Thailand tops the chart for Indian travelers in 2012 & 2013

Mumbai : The recent Hotel Price Index (HPI) report by Hotels.com show three Thailand cities – Bangkok, Phuket & Pattaya under the top 10 destinations explored by Indian travelers, in the last 2 years. Bangkok ranks number 1 consecutively for 2 years. Besides Thailand, other South East Asian countries that saw maximum visitors were Singapore, Hong Kong and Kualampur-Malasia. Dubai (UAE), London (UK), New York (US) and Las Vegas (US) also featured in the top 10 amongst other International countries.

While Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru, Chennai and Jaipur continued to reserve the top 6 spots, the Indian city known to attract International tourists the most viz Agra, the land of Taj Mahal has dropped two spots. Agra has moved from 7th to 9th position, giving way to Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram in 2013.
