In the year 1952, Dr. Salaudin Chopdar, a young medical entrepreneur, came upon the novel idea of starting De-Addiction canters for all types of substance abuse in the country with the sole aim of making this country addiction free, thus being a part of the mission to save millions of lives wasted by alcohol and drug abuse. The most interesting part of this mission was to cure the addict of his addiction without his knowledge by taking the help of his family members and, as a result, the addict was spared rehabilitation procedures. This mission and its implementation by Dr. S.D. Chopdar was on a countrywide scale, and millions of people benefited from this campaign besides earning the blessings of their families. Initially, this was done with the help of government agencies and social workers of the likes of Shri Anna Hazare in even the most remote corners of the country.

Dr. Salaudin Chopdar, Ex-Chairman of Rajasthan Aushdhalaya Pvt. Ltd (RAPL Group), was born in a small village by the name of Jhunjunu in the Rajasthan State of India, created a professional team of medical experts, and did extensive research-oriented work in the medical field, which resulted in the creation of hundreds of highly effective herbal formulations for various diseases, and was a pioneer in the field of de-addiction. Dr. S.D. Chopdar left a void in the field of Ayurveda with his untimely death in September 2020, which created quite a flutter in the country among the people who knew him and his unflinching social work. Considering this painstakingly done research-oriented work and the philanthropic thought process, the Indian Postal Department issued a postage stamp in the year 2021 to commemorate his first death anniversary. The Government of India thus added the name of Dr. Salaudin Chopdar to the list of great personalities. Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, and Subhash Chandra Boss were revered for their work in the field of Ayurveda, which speaks volumes about their work in the field of Ayurveda.
