Thematic Rangolis, Outdoor LED Screens, PAS an innovative idea to celebrate Clean & Green Diwali in the city of “Taale & Taleem”.

Aligarh city is fueled with positive vibes, Rangolis, LED Screens and some special arrangements.  Municipal Commissioner, Aligarh Municipal Corporation, Prem Ranjan Singh IAS along with City Mayor Mohammad Furqan and Additional Municipal Commissioner Arun Kumar Gupt  today conducted surprise inspection of several core areas in city including Achal Tal, Ramghat Road, Sarai Bibi, Maris Road, Kela Nagar Quarcy Bypass, Kishanpur, Gandhi Park, GT Road Gular Road Municipal Corporation Workshop, Sarai Lavaria, Raghuvirpuri, Khair Road, Gular Road etc. In order to bring social behavior change in public toward civic awareness and cleanliness and waste management among the residents, Aligarh Development Authority Vice Chairman and Municipal Commissioner Prem Ranjan Singh made special cleaning arrangements for  intersections, markets and major roads in the city on the occasion of Deepawali.

During the inspection, the Mr. Singh also asked the local and the elderly people to give their requirements as early as possible so that necessary action could be initiated to redress their problems.

AMC before time completed the preparation for Deepawali to provide a clean and safe city to the women, children, elders and traders. 

Mayor Mohammed Furqan gave the wishes of Deepawali to the people of the city and said that on this festival of lights, the residents must light a Diya in their home and courtyard to preserve the unity of the country and the “Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb” and Taalim of Aligarh.

During the inspection, the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner instructed the officials to reduce the number of garbage collection points from the major roads and markets, as well as to ensure early pick up the garbage in the morning shift by A to Z Company.

Additional Municipal Commissioner said that the Aligarh city is also participating in the Swachhta Survekshan-2021 this time, the residents of the city have to take this Diwali a resolution to make their city the number one place in the cleanliness ranking.
