  • Tight security during Barack Obama’s three days visit

    edited obamaAn unprecedented security arrangement, comprising Delhi Police and para-military forces, has been put in place in New for the US President Barack Obama’s three-day visit.

    The capital is under the highest level of security. An advance team of US Secret Service agents is already in the capital to ensure fool proof security of the President during his thee day stay.

    Around 8-layer security ring will guard the enclosure of the US President. The first and the second layer will be guarded by US Secret Service agents armed with advanced technology gadgets. They will provide close proximity security to Obama.

    The third layer will be covered by the Special Protection Group (SPG) while the National Security Guard (NSG) commandos will be in the fourth. Other layers will be guarded by the CRPF, CISF personnel and Delhi Police.

    “The Beast”, Obama’s armoured limousine car based on a Cadillac DTS, is designed to protect against military rifle shots, bomb shrapnels and other explosives.
