  • Times Music Releases Music Cards of Sangeetha, Leading Kannada Record Label

    Mumbai: Times Music has acquired the rights of music cards of  Sangeetha – The Master Recording Company. Sangeetha is the first licensed company to produce pre-recorded audio cassettes in South India. With this acquisition, people will now have access to a wider variety of music – over 2000 albums, including music from nearly 400 Kannada films, a huge collection of Carnatic Classical-Vocal, Instrumental, Dance music, Non-Film songs, Folk Music and Devotional songs – in all major South Indian languages along with Sanskrit. The acquisition has helped Times Music expand its content catalogue and serve a wider audience base.

    Sangeetha Music has given many critically acclaimed and chart-topping songs sung and played by some of the top artists (Carnatic Vocal, Carnatic Instrumental, Devotional Songs), of the South Indian Music industry, including Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna, Dr. M.L. Vasanthakumari, Mandolin – U. Srinivas, Kadri Gopalnath, Sikkil Sisters, T.N. Seshagopalan, Hyderabad Brothers, Swami Haridhos Giri Guruji, Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, T.V. Gopalakrishnan, M. S. Gopalakrishnan, E. Gaayathri, Kunnakkudi Vaidyanathan, Bombay Sisters, P. Susheela and Venna Chittibabu. Their catalogue also comprises of music from Dr. Rajkumar’s films and devotional albums.
