Methods of TOEFL Exam Fee Payment
ETS has made available several payment options for the TOEFL exam fee. The options are enlisted below:
- Credit Card/ Debit Card: The cards that are accepted for fee payment are American Express, Visa Cards, Mastercard, Diners Club, Discover and China Union Pay. This process is the most efficient as it allows one to pay the exam fee in the country’s currency.
- PayPal: This digital platform is a convenient mode of payment for TOEFL exam fees. Simply applicants need to open an account and link it with their bank account.
- E-Check: E-Check or an electronic check, allow candidates to draw the check electronically. However, Indian students cannot avail of this facility. It is only available for banks that are present in the US, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Canada.
- Money Order: Applicants can also money order the TOEFL exam fee provided the cheque is drawn in USD.
Refund Policy of TOEFL Exam Fee
The TOEFL exam fee is refunded in case of an unavoidable circumstance but the applicant has to ensure the following conditions in order to receive the refund.
- The payment needs to be made in time with all the necessary signatures.
- Full refund is not available.
- Only 50% of the registration fee is returned on the condition that the cancellation request is made four days prior to the TOEFL exam date.
- If the test is cancelled by ETS, students can receive reimbursement of costs within 30 days.
- The refund will be processed in the same currency as the fee payment.
