Jorhat : A three day training session on functioning of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and Voter Verified Paper Edit Trail (VVPAT) machine was imparted to nearly 1800 polling officials and presiding officers at the Jorhat District Library Auditorium conducted by Subham Gowala, Additional deputy Commissioner cum I/C of Training and Personal, Rajib Gogoi, Circle Officer, Jorhat along with master trainers Raj Kumar Chetry, Pankaj Hazarika, Anup Shahu and SK Gohain here today.

Moreover polling officials from Jorhat Election Districts were given power point presentation in phase manner and also manually by master trainers for conducting hassle free and speedy completion of poll for the Ist Phase for the 12th Jorhat Lok Sabha Constituency Seat to be held on April 11th next, said Rajib Gogoi, an administrative official here.
