While binge-watching web series, shows and documentaries became a pastime for everyone, a majority of travellers had a hard time being indoors. Alex Drobin, a travel host at the leading travel channel Travelxp shares how he has bounced back by taking his work a notch higher. 

An avid traveller from an early age, Alex has had an interesting takeaway from his journeys. Out of the different ethnicities, cultures and cuisines that the world has to offer, Alex feels blessed to explore different destinations of the world. The travel host has hosted two shows at Travelxp – ‘Off The Grid’ and ‘Food Fact Fun’. Interestingly, both the shows were massive hits among the viewers. 

Hailing from Canada, Drobin in his spectacular career has travelled to different countries like the UK, Ireland, the UAE, India and the Netherlands. As the travel restrictions after the pandemic have been lifted, Alex is back doing what he does the best. But this time after a hiatus, he has come up with something special for all the travel enthusiasts. 

The Toronto-based traveller is aiming to document his travel journeys to different countries in association with travel influencers from across the world. His idea is to create a one-of-a-kind docuseries showcasing the world’s best travel destinations. It is believed that Alex has already started working on his dream project, and he is keen to tie up with a major OTT platform for the docuseries. 

Elaborating about it, Alex revealed, “I am excited to bring this concept to life. Amidst the consecutive lockdowns, I have missed exploring exotic beaches, dunes, twinkling skylines and going on adventures to the world’s best destinations.” Furthermore, Drobin stated that he is set to lift people’s spirits by making them stop wondering and rather start wandering to the best places in the world.

As Alex continues to usher to newer heights in the travel sector, he is also making a name for himself in the real estate industry. Besides his work as a travel host, Drobin is working as a realtor with The Sidorova Inwood team, one of the top-notch real estate companies in Toronto. For both the professions that he is into, Alex Drobin is leveraging social media and internet trends to reach out to a wider audience.
