    Union Home Minister Amit Shah says a befitting reply will be given to those who disturb internal peace of the country

    Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah has asserted that India will give a befitting reply to those who will break the internal peace of the country or will try to enter into its soil.

    Inaugurating the new complex of the National Security Guard (NSG) in Kolkata this morning Mr. Shah said that India wants peace in the world and does not wish to attack anyone. He said that if anyone comes to break this peaceful atmosphere, India is ready to give a befitting reply to them.

    The Home Minister said that the Country has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and after surgical and airstrikes India’s name is being referred to the whole world after America and Israel to deal with internal security.

    Mr. Shah hailed the role of NSG for counter-terrorism work and for the country’s safety and security. He also advocated for changing of technology, training and strategies of the force in view of changing scenarios of terror-related activities.

    He said that Government is considering a proposal for a hundred days leaves of Jawans so that they can spend those leaves with their families besides other welfare measures.

    Meanwhile, opposition Congress and Left parties today held demonstrations during the visit of Home Minister at different parts of Kolkata protesting against the recent violence in East Delhi.
