In the United States, a gunman has killed at least 11 people and injured many, including four policemen, in an attack on a Jewish synagogue in Pittsburgh. Officials said, the shooting took place at the ‘Tree of Life’ Congregation Synagogue at the Squirrel Hill area, when a large number of people had gathered during religious services.

The suspect, identified as 46-year old Robert Bowers, has been taken into custody. The Justice Department said, the gunman will face federal charges that carry death penalty. Condoling the incident, President Donald Trump said in a tweet that all of America is in mourning over the mass murder of Jewish Americans. He termed the incident as an evil anti-Semitic attack and an assault on humanity.
