US President Donald Trump has said that the country is past the worst of the corona virus pandemic and that he will announce guidelines for reopening the economy today. He said that the battle continues but the data suggests that the US has passed the peak on new cases.

The President termed the development as encouraging and said that it puts the US in a very strong position to finalize guidelines for states on reopening the country. The United States has so far registered more than 6 lakh 19 thousand cases and 27 thousand 758 deaths.
