Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat today announced to recruit over one thousand male and female Home Guards in the State soon. He also approved increase allocation in the welfare fund for the dependents of the Home Guards soldiers, who sacrificed their lives on duty.
Expecting participation by the home guards and Civil Defence personnel in the rejuvenation of Rispana River, Chief Minister said that that “Rispana to Rishiparna” mission will surely be successful with the widespread public participation and Rispana will be revived.
Speaking at the Programme organized on the occasion of the Raising Day of Home Guards and Civil Defence Organization at Home Guards Directorate, in Dehradun today, Chief Minister said that with hard work, dedication and selfless spirit, the Jawans of home guards are discharging important responsibility of maintaining peace, law and order, traffic management, fairs and cultural programmes.
