Vedanta Aluminium to host the first edition of the International Aluminium Conference in Odisha

Held in partnership with Aluminium Association of India, the conference will witness the exchange of ideas and best practices, and showcase new innovations and developments from industry leaders

New Delhi :  Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, will be hosting the first edition of the International Aluminium Conference (IAC 2023) in association with the Aluminium Association of India (AAI) on February 9th and 10th, 2023. The conference, themed on “Making India the Aluminium Capital of the World”, will be held at Vedanta’s operations in Jharsuguda, Odisha.

IAC 2023 aims to bring together the global aluminium industry and its stakeholders, including customers, end consumers, suppliers of technology, services and raw materials to the aluminium industry, and other players across the value chain. The conference provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices, showcasing new innovations and developments in the field of aluminium, promoting sustainability in the industry, and fostering a circular economy.

The conference will feature technical presentations from a variety of participants, including primary metal producers, equipment suppliers, product development teams, academic institutions, research centers, and prominent international experts. IAC 2023 will see industry leaders come together to deliberate the road ahead for the global aluminium industry at the following panel sessions:
