  • Vijay Prasthan – 3” : Jain Diksha Festival To Be Celebrated In Borivali From 25th January 2020

    Mumbai:During the end of this month, a grand festival of Jain Diksha and Anjan-shalaka, named Vijay Prathan Utsav -3, will be held at Borivali. 8 Diksharthis will renounce the world to attain Jain Diksha in the 12 days festival, from 25th January 2020 to 5thFebruary 2020.

    During the festival, apart from Jain Diksha, Anjan-Shalaka of various idols as well as Dharma Sinhasan Arohak Utsav will be celebrated. This grand festival has been organized with the blessings & guidance of Acharya Shree Yugbhushan Suriswarji Maharaj( Pandit Maharaj Saheb).

    The 12 days mega festival will be celebrated at Chikuwadi ground in Borivali. This will be attended by large numbers of Jain Monks (Sadhu & Sadhvi) along with thousands of Jain Devotees and other public.

    The 8 Diksharthis in the Jain Diksha Festival include Shree Girishbhai (CS) from Ahmedabad, Shree Parshva kumar (age 17 years), Nikitaben (M.COM.), Shree Rajeshbhai (C.A., L.L.B.) from Bangalore,  Diyaben (age19 years). Besides, there will be 3 Diksharthis of Mumbai, Shree Parth kumar (age 19 years), Kashmiraben and Hiloriben (B. TECH from VJTI).

    This will be the 3rd Diksha Festival in the series of Vijay Prasthan. Vijay Prasthan -1 had 20 Diksharthis and Vijay Prasthan -2 had 16 Diksharthis, both mega events were attended by thousands of people.

    On 28th January 2020, motivational speaker Rahul Kapur will have interactive session with Diksharthis at 7.30 pm. There will be a grand Varshidan Varghodo of Diksharthis on 29th January, 2020, when Diksharthis will relinquish their worldly possessions moving in a procession in Borivali. Anjan-shalaka Mahotsav will be held during February 1 to 5, when ‘Gachathipati Arohan’ will be held on pious day of 4th February along  with felicitation and bestowing of highest degree of Gachathipati on Acharya Shree Yugbhushan Suriswarji Maharaj.

    While speaking on ‘Vijay Prasthan -3, Pandit Maharaj Saheb informed that Diksha is the beginning of path to success in the world, where success is achieved without downgrading anyone along with one’s own progress.

    Mr. Hemant M. Shah of Canada, who is Media Coordinator of the festival, stated that ‘JYOT’ religious organization has been established with the blessings & guidance of Acharya Shree Yugbhushan Suriswarji Maharaj. There is an ideal combination of modern idea coupled with religious belief is seen in ‘JYOT’. ‘JYOT’ has arranged various festivals, programs, discourses etc.from Ahmedabad, Bangalore and other places, which has attracted more than 25 lakh people, across the world.

    JYOT along with Gitarthganga, a research institute from Ahmedabad, have been jointly working on 108 main subjects & 15000 subsidiary subjects to prepare world encyclopedia based on religious principles.www.jyot.in
