Mumbai: With the aim to highlight the social issue of today’s society, Commonman Films to produce quality Marathi cinemas, best known medium to reach the masses. On the Thursday afternoon, the production house revealed the look and promo of its first home production ‘Are Avaaj Konacha …!’ a movie attempt to highlight the life of ‘Karyakarta’.

A team of youth coming from simple lifestyle and middle class background started their social career working as ‘Ganeshutsav Karyakartas’ (Social Worker) have joined their hands and formed a company named ‘COMMONMAN FILMS’.

On this occasion, Chidvilas Kshirsagar, Producer said, “Are Avaaj Konacha is not just a movie but our dream. Indian film industry is one the best medium to reach all sections of the society. The idea behind formation of Commanman Films was to reach out to masses and address the present social issues which are either avoided or forgotten through the medium of Filmmaking.”

The film is based on the journey and experience of a karyakarta finely represented by Dr Amol Kolhe as Uday Sawant in the movie. The story is about a young boy who comes from small town and gains popularity within short span under the political party as karyakarta. Looking at the popularity of Uday, the leader Nanasaheb (Tushar Dalvi) starts taking various possible measures to finish the career of this karyakarta, as Uday was a strong hand of his opposition Annasaheb (Uday Tikekar).

Director Hemant Deodhar said, “This movie will get connected to everyone. This movie is a comman man’s story. There are many karyakartas in our society who are suffering but their voices are ignored and unheard. This movie will also highlight the strength of today’s media who can make or break a person. Are Avaaj Konacha …! is dedicated to those voices which are unheard by the society of today.”

To address the issues of Karyakartas through movie, the team of professionals has come together with their expertise. The film is directed by Hemant Deodhar, youngest team of producers Vaibhav Wagh, Chidvilas Kshirsagar, Swapnil Suresh Naik and Harshal Garud, Screenplay & Dialogue by Pratap Gangavane while Director of Photography (DOP) Sanjay Jadhav, story by Anish Dattatraya Padekar and music is manned by Shailendra Barve with the excellent lyrics by Chidvilas Kshirsagar.

The music in this movie speaks the heart of the protagonist Uday Sawant (Dr Amol Kolhe) and his beliefs. This movie includes 4 songs like title song Are Avaaj Konacha…. sung by Krishna Beura and Neha Rajpal and spiritual song based on Lord Swami Samarth by maestro Hariharan, a song on Lord Ganesha sung by Anand Shinde and an energetic song Mawle Mawle… sung by a young dynamite singer Honraj Mawle along with Neha Rajpal.

“The film will emphasize on the life of karyakarta, their problems, the challenges they face during addressing the problems of society, political pressures, intrigue to mention few. The movie is all set to release on October 18, 2013 across Maharashtra.
