  • VV Mineral Launches ‘Health For All Campaign’ On World Health Day

    Tuticorin: In its ongoing endeavor to create a healthy life of all its employees, workers and community, the management and employees at various DSC_2297 90establishments of V.V. Mineral (VVM) observed ‘World Health Day’ on Monday, 7th April.  The company launched a special campaign titled ‘Health for All’ campaign at Aathoor factory (VVM), Tuticorin district. A Medical Camp was organized on the World Health Day for workers and nearby villagers wherein, free medical checkup and free medicines were given by Dr. Daniel Rajadurai, MBBS, M.D.  A total number of 200 people were positively impacted by the free health camp.

    Under the new initiative, ‘Health for all’ VVM has planned Medical Camps at all its factory locations. According to sources, the camp will have a medical practitioner who will counsel the patients and provide subsidized medical facilities to the surrounding community. In addition, Mobile Health Clinics,  Awareness programmes on various communicable diseases are also an integral part of the initiative.

    Speaking about VVM’s efforts to create a healthy environment around their community, Mr. Vaikundarajan, Managing Director – V V Group of Companies, said: “On World Health Day, we pledge ourselves to create broader consciousness about best healthcare practices like organizing health camps and free medicines distribution every month amongst our workers and community as a socially responsible company.  We are fully committed to harnessing a conducive environment around our workplace in a sustained manner.”

    A poster campaign on Health living and awareness on various diseases was also initiated at VVM, Aathoor factory, Tuticorin district.
