The Wall Street logged a range bound recovery yesterday as investors returned to the technology-related stocks but on the other hand a surprise rise in weekly jobless claims signaled a slowdown in economic growth and kept investors cautious. Seven of the 11 major S&P indexes were trading higher with gain in information technology stocks.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.2 a percent, the S&P 500 climbed 0.3 percent while the Nasdaq Composite index surged 0.4 percent.
