Noida : Wave City, the first operational Hi-tech City in North India, today celebrated World Cycling Day. To commemorate the day, a specially planned event was conducted at Dream Homes, Wave City in association with Hi Tech World School. The event aimed to inspire children to embrace the joy of cycling while promoting physical fitness and environmental consciousness.
Speaking on the cycling event, Mr CJ Singh, COO, Wave City said “We are thrilled with the overwhelming success of the Word Bicycling Day event. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 100 enthusiastic children who eagerly took part in the various activities. The participants also engaged into various fun-filled activities such as, power static cycling, and bouncy, making the event a memorable one for all who attended.
The event featured a range of activities tailored to different age groups, ensuring an inclusive and engaging experience for all participants. Children above 5 years of age showcased their cycling skills in the Throttle on Three Wheels on Tricycle event, while those aged 5 to 7 years demonstrated their endurance in the Kilometer Down (1km) event. Participants aged 7 to 9 years embraced the challenge of the Mile Down (1.6km), and children aged 10 to 15 years embarked on an exciting three-kilometer adventure in the You Go To See Me event.
