Bengaluru:  Moving a step further to develop a world class integrated hearing care delivery system in Karnatka, Widex India opens its 7th Senso Hearing Centre to improve standards of dispensing and service for the hearing impaired. Deafness, which refers to partial or complete loss of hearing, is one of the most common congenital disabilities in the world. As reported by World Health Organisation recently, there are about 250 to 300 million people deaf in the world, 2/3 of which live in underdeveloped countries, with India having the largest share. One out of every 12 persons in India suffers from hearing loss.
