Wipro today announced that it has received the prestigious American Society for Training & Development (ASTD)BEST award. Wipro is the only company, globally to have received this award eight years consecutively. The ASTD BEST Awards are the training industry’s most rigorous and coveted recognition and it recognizes organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success through employee learning and development.

Speaking about this unique achievement Dr. Selvan D, Senior Vice President Talent Transformation said, “We are honored and excited to have received this award. We feel that our commitment towards training and development has been recognized, yet again.”

At the award ceremony held in Washington DC recently, Tony Bingham, ASTD’s president and CEO commented that, “Wipro has won this award eight of the nine years it has existed.
