Hyderabad:Technology leaders are expecting the world digital market to touch 2 trillion dollar range in the coming couple of years. Every business in the world have to take digital way, or perish in that wave, they explained. A three-day ‘Digital Acceleration Summit-2020’ is going on in the world famous Ramoji Flim City of Hyderabad under the leadership of Suneratech. 150 delegates from 10 countries are participating in the summit.

In the previous days, we used to go to the travel offices to book our bus tickets. We had to search for proper time, proper seat and the ticket price, enquire everything manually and then pay in cash. But when ‘Redbus’ came into the field, everything has changed enormously. We are booking ticket right from our home, with just a phone in the pocket. Likewise, when we need a taxi in the olden days, we used to go to the taxi stand or wait for a taxi that is going on our way. When Uber came, most of the taxi unions have opposed it. But now, whenever you need a cab, you are booking from the remotest place too. That’s the magic of Digital transformation.

The ‘Digital Accelleration Summit’ is creating awareness to leaders of different sectors, business heads in the ever changing business world. More than 50 top-level executives from enterprises at the forefront of change, representing technology, services and global enterprises across industries attended this summit. The 3-day, invite only, purpose designed summit focussed on the fundamental methods and tools needed to enable, execute and accelerate the digital transformation.

India is leading the Digital Disruption, say the keynote speakers. They say that there are three major aspects that are leading to Digital Disruption. The first one is the penetration of mobiles, second is cheap data with the entry of jio, and the third is democratisaion of innovation. Because of these factors only Digital Disruption is more in India than any other country in the world. Business will not survive if they don’t take the digital path. Taxi companies are the best example for this. India is becoming the driving force for this digitalisation to the world. Rapidly changing educational system, increasing quality in the technical education, way of thinking in the youth all these aspects are providing the best digital opportunities both in the market and employment.

Almost all of the business entities have to take up the digital path, but initially consumer business will start first. Service sector and Manufacturing will follow the path later. Amazon’s second largest center is here in Hyderabad. Likewise Facebook, Google and so many other companies have chosen Hyderabad because of the largely available human resources in the technology field. So, there is no doubt that Hyderabad will lead the digital market now and in the future too. The companies which want to take up the digital challenge have to remind four major issues. They are, Designing business according to the customer needs, make use of cloud technology, building of modern applications that can cater the needs of customers, and most importantly data monitization. Hyper automation is going to lead the world in the coming decade. So, business entities have to change themselves right from now.

Hyderabad, being the most dynamic city in India is going to be the epicentre of Digital Disruption. Actors from all over the world would like to come to Ramoji Film City for shootings and post production facilities. Oyo has transformed the hospitality sector a lot. Netflix is ruling the entertainment sector. Digital Distruption is leading in almost all the sectors.
