World looking at India as land of opportunities: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, the entire world is looking at India as a land of opportunities.

In his address at the 56th convocation of the Madras IIT today, he said there has been a lot of optimism about the new India in the world, as he has perceived from his several interactions during his recent US visit.

He said the Indian community has made its mark across the globe in many fields, especially in science and technology.

Prime Minister Modi said innovations, teamwork and technology are the three pillars of the future world. He said India is aspiring to become a five trillion-dollar economy and added, the aspirations of youngsters would significantly contribute to the country in achieving the target.

He asked the graduating students to be mindful of their motherland and said the nation has a lot to offer them. He asked them not to stop dreaming and nudged them to compete with themselves every day.

He also asked the students to take care of their health by way of joining the Fit India Movement. He appealed to them to find solutions for tackling health care issues, as lifestyle diseases are going to pose great challenges to humankind.
