The world’s most valuable Diamond Necklace is on public display for a fortnight till April 6 in Dubai. The 637 carat Mouawad L’Incomparable diamond neclace has been certified by the”Guinness World Records” as the most valuable necklace in the world and being showcased at the Dubai Mall,the world’s largest shopping mall beginning today.

This diamond necklace embraces the Incomparable Diamond; the world’s largest internally flawless diamond graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) weighing 407.48 carats. The necklace is made of 91 diamonds and costs worth $55 million.

It consists of modified shield step-cut deep yellow diamond suspended beneath 229.52 carats of cascading, strikingly white diamonds that are sublimely interlaced in 18K rose gold branchlets.The diamond traces its origin in 1980 to the Democratic Republic of Congo where a little girl found the diamond in a rubble pile of kimberlite.

The bulky diamond was cut into its latest flawless form over a period of four years by the renowned diamond expert Marvin. It has since been on display at various museums.
