Mumbai: Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company based on number of hotels and one of three business units of Wyndham Worldwide , today announced the signing of seven properties in India for its Ramada^® and Days Inn^® brands.

Today’s announcement will strengthen the company’s presence in India, adding to the 12 hotels that are already open and operating and the eight properties that are currently under development in the market. The addition of these hotels will also expand the Asia Pacific portfolio which consists of 360 hotels and over 55,000 rooms under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts^®, Ramada^®, Howard Johnson^®, Days Inn^®, Super 8^® and Microtel Inns & Suites^® hotel brands.

Six of the new hotels will be branded with the Ramada^® name. Aerens Goldsouk International Ltd. and/or its affiliates, headquartered in Gurgaon, has signed agreements for four of the properties in Chennai, Kochi, Hisar and Ludhiana, while the Madhuban Group in Dehradun and Mussoorie signed agreements for the other two properties.

The Days Inn^® brand, which was introduced into the market just last month with the announcements of three new construction, full service Days Hotels, just signed an agreement with Mosaic Infraventures Private Ltd. for a fourth Days Hotel in Raipur.

The five-storey, 100-room Ramada Chennai Goldsouk Vandaloor will feature an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, business center, banquet and meeting rooms, all-day dining restaurant and lobby lounge. It will be part of the Gold Souk Grande development that will include premium retail and food outlets. The hotel is due to open in March 2012.

The nine-storey, 120-room Ramada Hisar Goldsouk will feature an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, business center, banquet and meeting rooms, all-day dining restaurant and lobby lounge. The hotel, due to open in April 2014, will be part of a large mixed-use project with office space and retail outlets.

The 15-storey, 120-room Ramada Kochi Goldsouk City will feature an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, business center, banquet and meeting rooms, all-day dining restaurant and lobby lounge. The hotel, due to open in April 2014, will be part of a large development including premium residential, commerical, retail and industrial units.

The nine-storey, 120-room Ramada Ludhiana Goldsouk GT Road will feature an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, business center, banquet and meeting rooms, all-day dining restaurant and lobby lounge. The hotel, due to open in January 2015, will be part of the India International Habitat Center which includes a convention center, apartments, office space and retail outlets.

The four-storey, 116-room Ramada Dehradun Rajpur Road will feature a private golf course, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, jogging track, spa, business center, meeting facilities, two restaurants and coffee shop. Located 24km from Dehradun airport, it is due to open in December 2011.

The five-storey, 39-room Ramada Mussoorie will feature a fitness center, spa, business center, banquet and meeting rooms, and all-day dining restaurant. It is due to open in October 2011.

The six-storey, 120-room Days Raipur Dhamtari Road will feature an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, business center, meeting facilities and multi-cuisine restaurant. Situated 9km from Raipur domestic airport, it will be part of a large mixed-use development including retail and entertainment outlets. It is expected to open in January 2014.
