Delhi:Xebia Academy Global, the Education Business unit of Xebia has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SRM University, Delhi / NCR, Sonepat to launch a B.Tech Computer Science Engineering programme specialization in DevOps for the academic session 2019-20. In this collaborative undertaking, Xebia will design the course curriculum and createstudy modules containing high quality and industry-specific content along with placement support for the graduating students. Xebia will also help in strengthening their faculty—building a team of competent educators and subject matter experts.
The B. Tech program will focus on the future-oriented field of DevOps. Its course structure has been designed in a way that it addresses the talent gap by providing relevant knowledge and upskilling the students. The curriculum development, which comprises course materials, assignments, and training sessions, will be piloted under the specific guidelines and expertise of Xebia’ s DevOps practitioners.
Focusing on the changing demands of engineering and the unprecedented role of DevOps, Dr. P. Prakash, Vice Chancellor, SRM University Delhi – NCR, Sonepat, said “In a world where the development of societies and nations is based on the symbiosis of technology, the knowledge and applications of DevOps is soon going to become an indispensable part of learning for engineering students. From inventing customized solutions for businesses to developing algorithms that help in analyzing consumer behavior, the future is unthinkable without this disruptive technology.”
