XLRI PGDM (GM), in association with Kautilya Consult Club, has organized an exclusive virtual interactive session with Mr. Marc Cosentino, global case solving expert and best-selling author of Case in Point: Complete Case Interview Preparation.  This session was a value added for students looking for careers in business strategy and consulting.  

This was the first time in a long time that Mr. Cosentino interacted with an Indian B-school for an exclusive, stand-alone session. In his session, Mr. Cosentino talked about the case solver’s mindset, the critical elements of business strategy. Expressing strong support for the Indian community, Mr. Cosentino spoke of the need for resilience and structured problem-solving both in consulting and in the real world. He pointed out “The foundation of case-solving lies not in the solution but in the method – knowing the right approach and having the right mindset is the key to good business case solving”.

He also answered student questions on entering the consulting world with prior experience, while also providing insight into how the consulting world is adapting to the new global reality. He took student questions at the end, talking about the importance of not just frameworks, but of the structured mindset.
