New Delhi: Yatra.com’s Immigration Stamps campaign has added yet another feather to its cap, by bringing home a Silver in the ‘Design Lions’ category, at the recently held Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity-2011. The festival is one of the most prestigious international advertising awards where more than 24,000 entries from all over the world are showcased and judged at the Festival. Yatra.com is one of the leading online travel companies in India offering a wide range hotels, holidays and flights.

The award winning creative work depicts 365 immigration stamps of different countries, one for every day of the year. Yatra.com hoped to inspire people to pack their backpacks and go travel not for a week or a month but for the whole year, with this innovative calendar. The novel campaign designed and conceptualized by TBWA\India has been on a winning streak this year. The ‘Immigration Stamps Calendar’ work won two Silver awards at One Show, in the categories of ‘Collateral Design – Promotion’ and ‘Direct Mail – Single’. Reflecting winners from the One Show, TBWA\India ranked #8 in the world in the 2011 ‘Design/Agency’ Pencil Rankings for the Yatra.com Immigration Calendar. It was also nominated at the D&AD Professional Awards under the Graphic Design category.

Speaking on the occasion, Pratik Mazumder, Head of Marketing and Strategic Alliance, Yatra.com, said “It is a delight that such a prestigious award has been bestowed upon Yatra’s Immigration Stamps Calendar. We had received good recognition for this campaign and were positive about making a mark at Cannes.” He further added, “A true campaign is the one which describes the intrinsic values of a company, and we are happy that TBWA\India did a wonderful job. The Immigration Stamps Calendar depicts how Yatra strives to offer newer holiday destinations across the world inspiring people to travel around the year.”
