Honor presented at December 2 Annual Meeting

Yolanda Diaz of The Schochet Companies (www.schochet.com) in Braintree, Massachusetts, received the ARM (Accredited Residential Manager®) of the Year Award by the Institute of Real Estate Management® (IREM) Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 at the chapter’s annual meeting, which took place December 2 at Granite Links in Quincy.

Diaz, who began her career in the real estate management field as an administrative assistant, joined The Schochet Companies in 2016 as assistant property manager of St. Botolph Apartments in Boston and two years later took on the assistant property manager position at Boston’s Symphony Plaza. Diaz was subsequently promoted to property manager of a portfolio of properties in Boston, a role where she is responsible for managing a mix of conventional and affordable housing units.

In addition to her ARM® designation from IREM, Diaz holds several additional certifications, including Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO™) and Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM®), both from the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA™).

Diaz was presented with the award by Yoany Vargas, a member of the IREM Boston Board of Directors.
