Mangaldai: Dr. Mithinga Daimary-a post graduate in Veterinary Science and an original neighbor of NDFB Chief Ranjan Daimary hailing from  Ambagaon near Harisinga in Udalguri district has made into the list of successful candidates  of the recently declared Assam Civil Service Examination (ACS) conducted by Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). Dr. Daimary born to marginal farmer Niran Daimary and Renu Daimary in the highly insurgency dominated period of the early 90s is an alumni  of the College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara in Guwahati in 2016 securing 75% and completed his MVSc from Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Berely , in UP with 78% of marks in 2018. This he got his admission for Ph D in Antibiotic resistance in College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara and was also qualified for Block Veterinary Officer by the APSC this year.

Dr. Daimary earlier had completed his schooling from Diamond English School at
Harisinga in first division in the HSLC Examination in 2008 and completed his HSSLC Examination from Udalguri College. Talking to APN News regarding his goal of becoming a civil servant he said , “After seeing the felicitation function of an Assamese youth qualified for IAS in 2007, Dr. Daimary, while in class X standard, I was highly inspired to make my aim to appear in the civil service examination. However it was the academic environment in IVRI followed by joining of some of my seniors in IAS and IPS  which motivated me the maximum to dream into reality.” It was some of  his close family members from both aternal and maternal relationship who offered continuous financial support in pursuing his higher studies till qualifying for the State Civil Services .  Mithinga who had appeared in APSC examination without any coaching and successfully made his entry into the ACS in his first very first attempt expressed his strong to crack the UPSC in near future and create history for  the entire trouble torn area . “I have a strong ambition to appear in the UPSC and I have been  preparing for it as well ”,  shared a very humble Dr Mithinga .
