Mangaldai  : Just at a time when all the State of Assam has been gripped under the fervour and gaiety of ongoing Durga Puja celebration, Darrang Police has conducted successful operations against the criminals. According to SP, Darrang Sreejith T., in connection with a burglary case registered in Sipajhar PS, an operational Darrang Police team on Tuesday night has arrested two criminals from Baihata Chariali area in Kamrup Rural District and managed to recover a big quantity of valuable stolen electronic goods including one Laptop, one printer and 39 nos of mobile handsets among others. The arrested criminals have been identified as Nazrul Ali (24) of Patrapur village and Kalyan Deka (22) of village Balikuchi Bazar both under Baihata Chariali PS. Earlier Mohshin Ali, a local trader of Dumunichowki bazar under recently lodged complaint in Sipajhar PS that a Laptop, a printer and around fifty nos of mobile handsets hade been stolen from his shop in an incident of burglary, the SP added.
